1)  Thanks to Glenn and Heather from the Firestarter our family room is 
no longer a fire hazard!

In the spring of 2003 my husband and I were renovating our main floor.  Before 
we started our gas fire up after the Reno we thought it wise to get
it checked.  Glenn came and inspected it.  He was very professional and
thorough in his inspection.  We could tell he was a little concerned 
with the existing fireplace.  He did some measuring, phoned a manufacturer
of gas fires and, to our horror, through Glenn, we discovered that our fire
did not meet fire codes and was a great fire risk.

Glenn proceeded to research a fire that would be suitable for our small
space - and of course, was not a fire hazard!!!  He had great suggestions
for the look of the new unit and I know he worked hard to find a perfect
new fire for us.  Once he had purchased our new fire, he took time to source
other material for the surround and the overall "look" we wanted to achieve.

We are thrilled with the final product and are even more thrilled we found Glenn
and The Firestarter.  We are excited to tell our story about how Glenn helped us to
prevent a potential hazard in our home.  We have absolutely no hesitation
in recommending The Firestarter, Heather's friendly, helpful voice over the phone,

2)  We had been having trouble operating our fireplace, becasue of very 
strong smell that was eminating from the fireplace.  After having several
experts look at the problem with no success, I was put in contact with Glenn
of The Firestarter.  Glenn and his wife Heather came out to our place
on a weekend to see if he could solve the problem.  Glenn was very thorough
in checking all of the different possible causes of the smell coming from
the fireplace.  He narrowed the possiblilities down, came up with the most likely
cause, and sure enough he solved the problem with our fireplace.  Whereas
before we could not use our fireplace, now because of Glenn's expertise, we
are enjoying many hours of using the fireplace.  I would recommend Glenn and his
company to anyone who is thinking about installing a fireplace or who
is having a problem with their existing fireplace.

4)  "Four years ago we had a natural gas fireplace installed by a company
in Calgary,  during the four years we had major problems with the fireplace.
No-one seemed to be able to identify the problem.

Glenn Stiller, Proprietor of The Firestarter identified the problem on his
first visit.  The faulty fireplace was replaced by a direct vent fireplace.

A gentleman by the name of Tony Pownall from Calgary called regarding Glenn 
at the Firestarter in Alberta.  He wanted to let Archgard know that he is very

Christmas, was fantastic customer service!
